Mishka Fall 2011 Lookbook Teaser (Video)

Mishka presents this video teaser which highlights their Fall/Winter 2011 Collection.
“The clip was shot entirely in and around London, which provided the perfect backdrop in which to highlight our latest creations, and was directed by the ever-talented Laurence Dean and shot and edited by Joseph Rodrigues Marsh.
We got in touch with a whole cadre of talented Londoners for this video, and filmed them sauntering about town while dressed in the new Fall collection. As the clip progresses, it becomes clear this thing is a literal who’s who of British music staples and up-and-comers. We may have exhausted our DJ/producer Grime, Dubstep and House rolodex for this one, as the clip boasts appearances by the living legend, Plastician, as well as Bok Bok, one half of Night Slugs — one of the most exciting labels in the world — and if that wasn’t enough, brought out some other big guns in Redlight, Darq E. Freaker, Subscape, Tomb Crew, Roska, Peigh, Spooky (of Oil Gang), Alix Perez and Doorly.”

Mishka is one of our favorite streetwear brands, due to their out of the box take on graphics and apparel. After presenting their teaser to their Spring 2011 collection, the label debuts their completed lookbook. Using the help of friends such as Diplo and 12th Planet to model the looks, the collection is fun and new with pieces that include colorful graphic tees, tank tops, printed shorts and button-down shirts.

Video: Mishka Spring 2011 Collection Lookbook Teaser

New York brand Mishka, gives us an inside look on their upcoming Spring 2011 collection. Although this is only a teaser it gives us an incentive on what the brand has to offer within the upcoming months.
“The lookbook for all of Spring 2011 will be unveiled to the world in the coming days, but we’ve decided to give you a little taste. A Мишка amuse bouche. Matthew Caron (AKA The Vidiot) shot all this footage of our lookbook shoot (yeah, we’re meta. What of it?), and put together this succulent little teaser video. As you can see, we’ve chosen a bunch of our favorite musicians from the greater NY area to model all our new duds.
This lookbook features the likes of (deep breath): Neon Indian, Suckers, Das Racist, Roofeeo, Creep, Hussle Club, Fostercare, BL§§D OU†, AraabMuzik, AC Slater & The Captain (of Trouble & Bass), as well as recent Мишка Mixtaper Stalley, all shot by the lovely and talented Marley Kate.”

For the 2011 season, Mishka has created a teaser which features lots of new faces including Kayla-Jane Danger, Mosh, Skin Diamond, Masuimi Max, Marlo Marquise and Jenna Haze. The teaser also features returning faces that we have seen before that include Justine Joli, Ryan Keely, Charlotte Stokely, Darenzia, Heather Vandeven, Mandy Morbid, and Zoli to create a stunning “Not So Safe For Work” 2011 calendar. The calendar which was shot by Ellen Stagg will be available Friday, November 19, 2010 at Mishka.

Stepping up from the general street wear graphic tees, Mishka provides a classic lineup of apparel which has opened a new page in the Brooklyn brands collection history. The lookbook which was shot by Elizabeth Weinberg highlights tasteful cut and sew garments creating staple pieces for an overall style friendly collection. The collection is to hit stores in the upcoming weeks.
