200 WORDS ABOUT POWER…

This is black “hoodie” rap! Kanye West’s “Power” is the song of the year and it’s only June. It will be hard for another artist to surpass the message and the relevance of this song. With enough oil spewing into the gulf to send a moped to Uranus and BP literally getting away with murder; Kanye’s award show antics seem to fail in comparison to the real “POWERs that be”. No one man, company, or country should have all that power. However, misunderstood passion will always be demonized by hebetudinous individuals and a well dressed lie will always be chased by the naked truth. After listening to “Power” nothing else matters. I want to yell, jump, scream; I want to march on Washington, I want to protest! Goddamit I want to RIOT! This summer anthem is stirring and it lights a fire under apathetic and complacent artists. Take Jay-Z (the Legend) Drake (the renaissance man) and Mr. West (the revolutionary) sprinkle a little Kid Cudi here and a dash of B.O.B there, top it all off with a big dollop of Eminem and Hip hop seems poised for it’s own Harlem Renaissance.

This post is where it's at! Most people move so fast that they fail to monitor their surroundings. However if you slow down and look at what’s around you, you might be surprised! Those you think are against you are for you and vice versa~!
Power.. be careful who you appoint!
